“One of the biggest problems that faces the sculptor, without a doubt, is to depend on casting a very complex technique, requiring a great amount of craftsmanship, so... in other words another art. Only those who know intimately the technique of “the lost wax process” may appreciate its value. In this technique several different staff is used, from plaster to finished bronze. Thus the high cost, the raw material in itself is what counts the least.”
